Berry & Herbal Tea Infusion

We all know that herbal teas have great health properties and make a fantastic substitute to caffeine based hot drinks, but some of them can be a bit boring! So I like to jazz up a herbal tea with all sorts of add ins, OR make my own fresh infusion. When I am feeling a bit run down or in need of some extra TLC a few pots of these infused teas do wonders. Give them a try!

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
8 Frozen Raspberries (or any berries of your choice)
2 Sprigs of fresh Mint
1 Lemon wedge, squeezed into your brew – do not soak in your water, the skin makes it bitter
1 Herbal tea bag of your choice (I like green tea!)

Method

1. Place all your goodies in a teapot and fill with boiling water, allow to steep for 2 mins before drinking.

Note: You can really get creative with these herbal blends! Mix in ginger, other fresh herbs and berries to get the flavour tweak of your choice going. Such a great way to get healthy vitamins, minerals and liquids into your body. Excellent for a health cleanse and detox!
